Jabiru South Africa - The Factory
We have now been in George since 2002 some fifteen years and have increase our factory size substantially. With the aim at keeping aviation affordable we have gone one step further - we have set up full manufacture of all the composite parts of the Jabiru aircraft in South Africa under license to Jabiru Australia - to supply our local market. So we no longer import full kits from Australia and have reduced the supply of the Australian content reducing exchange rate reliant content and thereby keeping the pricing down. With over 400 Jabiru aircraft flying in Southern Africa we together with Jabiru Australia will continue to strive to improve and refine the Jabiru experience that has touched so many pilots out there not only in South Africa but around the world.
